What is?

Tetra is a small animation festival and screening in Melbourne, Australia showcasing both local and international talent. We will be showing a mixture of 2D, 3D, experimental, music videos and more. As long as it’s animated and fun, we will show it!

Where is?

The exact screening location is still TBC, but will be around the inner north of Melbourne, Australia.

Will there be an online livestream?

There will be no online livestream of the festival.

Do i keep all the rights to my film when i submit?

Yes of course! The original artists or production companies retain all legal rights to their films and any work submitted. We are only screening your films as a one off in-person screening.

How do I submit my film?

Submissions are currently closed for the 2026 edition, to keep up to date with future editions of the festival, sign up to our newsletter.

How do you select films?

We want films that are good, entertain and inspire, not necessarily in that order. We watch all entries with a small team and pick films that we think fit the vibe.
